Do you sing, enjoy music, and want to be part of a great group of people in our church? If so, now is your chance to join a choir! As the fall season begins, the St. Mary’s Choirs will join together again to lead the congregation in worship and song. Our joyful mission is to proclaim God’s Word through hymns, psalms, anthems and spiritual songs from a variety of musical traditions. New members are welcome in both the Junior and Adult Choirs!
The Adult Choir rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings. Our first rehearsal will be Thursday, Sept. 8 from 7:30–9:00 p.m. in the choir room. The Adult Choir sings most Sundays at the 10:00 a.m. service, and for special services throughout the year.
All young people (age 5 and above) are invited to join the Junior Choir. Returning singers will rehearse on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6:30-7:15 p.m. to prepare for the Bishop’s Visitation and Confirmation service on Sunday, Sept. 11. New members are invited to begin rehearsals on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The Junior Choir sings at the 10:00 a.m. worship service once a month during the school year, and at special services for Christmas and Easter.
