Junior Choir Recognition and Babson Night Sunday, May 22

Babson Night Several Years Ago

On Sunday, May 22 we will recognize the members of the Junior Choir during the 10:00 a.m. service. The singers wear crosses with colored ribbons signifying their years of membership in the choir. On “Step-up Sunday” we thank them for their commitment and dedication to the choir, and we “step them up” to the next year of membership by presenting them with a new ribbon. During the service the Junior Choir will share their Babson Night contribution titled “Somebody’s Knockin,” an American spiritual arranged by Ken Berg. Also on May 22 at 4:00 p.m., the Junior Choir will participate in the Babson Night program with young people from the other religious institutions in Wellesley.

The Grace Knight Babson Fund was created to encourage Biblical memorization and support religious education in the Wellesley area. This program is open to the public and will be held at Knight Auditorium on the Babson College campus. Congratulations to the members of the Junior Choir: Ben Campbell, Ella Campbell, Cate Cole, Maddie Cole, Teddy de Peyster, Julia Lawton, Ellie Marchesseault, Tyler Marchesseault, Thomas Pacinda, Will Pacinda, Adair Smyth, Harper Smyth, and Frances Tucker.
