“The Great Vigil, when observed, is the first service of Easter Day.

It is celebrated at a convenient time between sunset on Holy Saturday and sunrise on Easter Morning.”

Preparing for our Easter Sunday Service

Easter Service will be streamed but NOT live-streamed. The service will be available on this page just before sunrise on Easter Sunday. It can be viewed at a convenient time on Easter. We will not be live-streaming, so please don’t go to Facebook looking for the service.

Book of Common Prayer and Bulletin The Great Vigil of Easter begins on pages 284-285 of the Book of Common Prayer. There are links to download the bulletin and order of service at the bottom of this page. You can fully participate in the service without a bulletin or Book of Common Prayer.

Bring a candle, if you wish, and something to light it with. You will be invited to light the candle at the beginning of the service.

The videostream will be available on this page at sundown on Saturday evening.

Watch it Together on Television! If you are able, we encourage you to watch the service on a computer screen or television, especially if you will be celebrating with others. We will be using Youtube as our broadcast platform; some television sets allow for syncing with a smartphone.
